Tonight after school Jake and I need to go pick up his Cello. He's so excited to get it home and start practicing it. I'm excited to have this beautiful instrument in my home. On the days he doesn't take it to school--I may just teach myself how to play it. That way I can help him along the way. Only--I taught myself how to play the piano, and that has never translated into teaching my kids--so I may be 'up in the night' on this one too--but I think a little understanding of the instrument can't hurt!
